Add to wallet

One click above, or programmatically from your dApp:

await window.ethereum.request({ method: "wallet_addEthereumChain", params: [{ chainId: "0xfb47", // 64327 chainName: "Midas Testnet", nativeCurrency: { name: "Midas", symbol: "MIDS", decimals: 18 }, rpcUrls: [], blockExplorerUrls: [] }] });

Testnet faucet

Send yourself gas, then mint test tokens from your wallet. One claim per address per day.

Wallet diagnostics: every request this page sends to your wallet, and exactly what the wallet answered.

Connect an SDK

import { JsonRpcProvider } from "ethers"; const provider = new JsonRpcProvider(); const n = await provider.getBlockNumber(); console.log("Midas block", n);
import { createPublicClient, http, defineChain } from "viem"; export const midas = defineChain({ id: 64327, name: "Midas Testnet", nativeCurrency: { name: "Midas", symbol: "MIDS", decimals: 18 }, rpcUrls: { default: { http: [] } }, blockExplorers: { default: { name: "Midas Explorer", url: } }, }); const client = createPublicClient({ chain: midas, transport: http() }); await client.getBlockNumber();
import { createConfig, http } from "wagmi"; import { midas } from "./chains"; // the viem defineChain above export const config = createConfig({ chains: [midas], transports: { [midas.id]: http() }, });

Deploy a contract

Standard Foundry or Hardhat, no Midas-specific tooling. Fund your deployer from the faucet first.

# Foundry forge create src/MyContract.sol:MyContract \ --rpc-url \ --private-key $PK --broadcast # Hardhat, networks entry midas: { url: , chainId: 64327 }

JSON-RPC

The public endpoint whitelists read + submit methods (eth_*, net_*, web3_*). Node-admin methods are blocked.

curl -s \ -H "content-type: application/json" \ -d '{"jsonrpc":"2.0","method":"eth_blockNumber","params":[],"id":1}' # -> {"jsonrpc":"2.0","id":1,"result":"0x..."}

REST / GraphQL API

USDMD

USDMD is a dollar stablecoin on Midas Chain, with 6 decimals. It is backed by gold held in an on-chain reserve, and it is designed to hold its dollar value by pairing that gold with a short gold position. It is minted against accepted gold tokens and redeemed for them, a proof of reserves is published on chain every hour, and the token contract has no function that can freeze or seize a balance. The issuer publishes the reserves, the dispenser and the documentation on Krysos.

Testnet, MockXAU is not gold and test USDMD has no value. The testnet reserve is MockXAU, because no real testnet gold can be had. Bridged Paxos PAXG is accepted too, and holds nothing yet.

Assets and contracts

Everything deployed on this chain, and everything built but not yet deployed. This table and the Pactol app render the same registry file, so the two cannot disagree. An entry says Live only after an eth_getCode check on the chain it names.

Tokens on the chain

Applications: Pactol contracts and markets

Pactol is an application on Midas Chain, deployed and operated by its own team. Listed here because these are the contracts a builder on this chain is most likely to read.

Wallets do not list tokens on a custom network by themselves (MetaMask only auto-detects on networks with a built-in token list). Use Add to wallet, or import the address manually under Tokens, Import tokens.
